Students from CAU, Morehouse College , Spelman College and Georgia Tech are among the current IC (Intelligence Community) Scholars. Any college students in the Atlanta University Center and Atlanta area interested in intelligence and national security may apply. Students must be U.S. citizens in their sophomore through first year of graduate school with overall G.P.A.'s of 3.0 or above. The CAENS Studies program then complements the scholars' major programs of study with sessions designed to develop and enhance the critical skills needed for employment in the Intelligence Community.

- Scholarly lectures
- Meetings with IC Agencies and representatives
- Workshops on research and oral presentations
- Workshops on professional development
